In general, in plastic pot are only able to access average 20% of substrate filled in pots. On the other hand, plants in SlitPot are able to access over 90% of substrate filled in the pot. It means that plants in SlitPot can have larger volume of root than plants in conventional pots. Generally, volume of plants or number of flowers on plants are directly proportional to the volume of root. Thus, plants in SlitPot are able to have larger volume on leaves and stems and also number of flowers and number and volume of fruits and nuts.
